But the goddess of the forest thwarts their plan and opens a gateway to a hidden world. 210 years earlier, the explorer Alexander von Humboldt had inadvertently transported an invisible people, the Tamanaken, from the Orinoco across the ocean to his castle in Berlin, where they had built their new world. Plans and destinies converge in the Humboldt Grove. The showdown takes place at the Great Festival of Rachmakud, where a world rises up that no one could have anticipated.

Will the future turn out to be as Friuli knows it in the year 3028? The answer to this question depends on the actions of three girls: Annabell, Lara, Maya, their seer Sven and his dog Timmy. For that future is closely linked to the fate of Dorothea, a girl who in 1728 was unjustly convicted of being a witch in the last trial of its kind in Berlin. Only if the three girls manage to change poor Dorothea's fate and lifting her curse will the future be saved. A fantastic and adventurous journey through time over 1,300 years takes the three of them from the time of Dorothea's birth to a future where the NI-Indi-Bots' ingenious inventions can solve all of humanity's problems.

Fleeing through time, the three girls have landed in a megacity in the year 3028. It certainly makes sense, but what sense? Everything functions in an entirely different way. In this future, they meet Friuli, who decides to help them although he is not really sure who these three mysterious girls, their friend and his dog are. Together, they travel to Friedrichsfelde Castle. Friuli soon realizes that the three are on a mission that will also affect his own time. They are astounded to discover how closely the fates of Dorothea and a mysterious 'devil' are intertwined with the past, the present and the future.

What no one knew was that, to escape what fate had in store for it, this sensitive school building had transformed itself into a young woman. She takes her first steps, literally, in her new body, into a new independent life. Together with the animals she encounters and with her first friend, she discovers the worlds of living and supernatural creatures. However, Annabell, Lara and Maya, together with Sven and his dog, Timmy, must find this woman at all costs to end the worldwide chaos caused by the school's disappearance. Because a building can't simply disappear from the scene unnoticed. It seems hard to predict what will happen next.
